All the sounds in this video were create recorded, synthesized, edited and mixed by myself. It was a pretty fun-to-make project looking at how I achieved each sound…
For example, the earthquake-type sound was originally a recording of sizzling pancakes recorded on H4n than processed within Ableton through a Bit reduction, EQ, Auto Filter and Compressor.
The spaceship it’s a layer of a hoover and a boiler recorded on the H4n using the Doppler effect. Then, processed again in Ableton and edited and mixed in Pro Tools.
And yes, the man speaking on the radio at the end it’s me!…not even going through a Lo-Fi plugin I could hide my accent! =]
